India’s first cheetah conservation corridor

Rajasthan is set to join India’s first inter-state cheetah conservation corridor with Madhya Pradesh. This initiative aims to create a 17,000 sq. km wildlife corridor, allowing cheetahs to roam freely in a protected and connected habitat.

Palpur Kuno National Park & Gandhi Sagar Sanctuary (Madhya Pradesh).
Mukundara Hills Tiger Reserve (Rajasthan).

Geographical Coverage:

10,500 sq. km in Madhya Pradesh.
6,500 sq. km in Rajasthan.

 Kota, Bundi, Baran, Jhalawar, Sawai Madhopur, Karauli, Chittorgarh.
