Joint naval exercise Naseem Al Bahr

Indian Navy and the Royal Navy of Oman recently concluded their bilateral naval exercise, Naseem Al Bahr, off the coast of Goa from October 13 to October 18, 2024.

Exercise Phases: The exercise was conducted in two phases.

The harbour phase (October 13-15) included professional interactions, Subject Matter Expert Exchanges, planning conferences, sports fixtures, and social engagements.

The sea phase (October 16-18) involved various naval maneuvers, gun firings at surface inflatable targets, close-range anti-aircraft firings, maneuvers, and Replenishment at Sea Approaches (RASAPS).

Objective: The exercise aimed to strengthen interoperability and mutual understanding between the two navies.
