Karnataka government dilutes norms to appoint KSPCB chairman

Karnataka government has recently diluted the norms for appointing the Chairman of the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB).

 New Eligibility Criteria: As per the public notice issued by the Forest, Ecology, and Environment Department individuals with any engineering degree from an accredited institution or a postgraduate degree in a science stream are now eligible for the position.
