Karnataka govt residential schools to be renamed: CM Siddaramaiah

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah announced the renaming on Valmiki Jayanti.

New Name: All government residential schools in Karnataka will be renamed as Maharishi Valmiki Residential Schools.

Objective: The initiative aims to honor and preserve the legacy of Maharishi Valmiki, the revered author of the Ramayana.

Raichur University: Additionally, Raichur University will be renamed as Maharishi Valmiki University.
