World’s first-ever ropeway safari for aerial wildlife viewing

Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) in Maharashtra is set to offer the world's first-ever ropeway safari for aerial wildlife viewing.

Project Developer: The project is being developed by French company POMA SAS, known for their ropeway systems in places like Mussoorie and Kashmir.

Purpose: The ropeway safari aims to enhance wildlife tourism by providing visitors with an aerial view of the jungle, without disturbing the natural habitat.

About Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) is one of India's premier tiger reserves, located in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra.

Area: The reserve covers an area of 625.4 square kilometers. 

Tiger Population: TATR is home to a significant tiger population, with at least 80 tigers within the reserve and over 200 tigers in the larger landscape.

Biodiversity: The reserve supports a variety of wildlife, including leopards, dholes, sambar, chital, wild pigs, and gaur. 

Ecosystem: Tadoba's ecosystem is a tropical dry deciduous forest, providing a habitat for diverse flora and fauna.
