World’s first hydrogen-powered battle tank

Hyundai has unveiled the world's first hydrogen-powered battle tank, named the K3.

Developed by Hyundai's subsidiary Rotem, this next-generation tank uses hydrogen fuel cell technology to produce clean, almost silent propulsion.

Key Features:

Hydrogen Fuel Cells: The K3 tank combines hydrogen from compressed gas tanks with oxygen from the air to create electricity, powering an electric motor.

This results in a near-silent powertrain with the only emission being water vapor.

Stealth Capabilities: The tank has a reduced heat signature and noise level, making it less detectable by thermal vision equipment and heat-seeking weaponry.

Advanced Technology: The K3 will feature autonomous driving technology, an observation drone, and a new 130mm smoothbore main gun. 

Crew and Armor: The tank will have a crew of three (a driver, a commander, and a gunner) housed in a heavily armored section of the vehicle's hull.
